Stella

Meet Dark Water’s newest tattoo artist…

Stella (a.k.a. @umbra.inks | she/her) brings a distinctly Gen Z voice to Dark Water — fluent in anime, gaming, and the sharp, sparkling visual language of y2k cybersigilism. Her work moves easily between cute color Pokémon, bold blackwork anime portraits in the suminagashi-influenced style, and red-and-black neo-tribal pieces threaded with spider lilies and thorns.

Stella specializes in custom designs with a focus on black and grey with color pops, stipple shading, and a signature "cute but edgy" sensibility. Her anime knowledge runs deep across Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and the full Pokédex — translating beloved characters into pieces that honor the source while standing on their own as wearable art. She's built her chair as a chill, inclusive space that warmly welcomes all bodies and identities.
